Wrapped up my slot a few days ago when there were about 25 slots left. Just checked again and only 6 more to go.
I signed up when I got an email blast from the RD saying it was coming. Still haven't seen anything from Montrail, but it's shown on the Steamboat site. I'll bet there will be a number of folk upset when it's announced and then immediately find that it's full.
I don't see any heavy hitters on the list now, so I guess there may be a shot for me, who knows. I saw Burch's wife, but not his name on the list... thought he was running.
Burch has a comp entry (plus sweet condo for the weekend) as the returning champ, so he'll be there. Just emailed him to let him know about the WS spots. He seemed psyched, but wants to see how he goes this weekend at the Mesa 100. 100s aren't really his thing.
Good to hear, site shows it full now. Looks like Bryan Goding is a go, I don't notice anyone else so my money would be on him and Burchie to be dancing. At least the times should be honest, I'd say that it'll take sub-8 or close to get there.

I'd take Corey Hanson and Bill Fanselow, maybe even Scott Drum, over Bryan (who is currently gimpy). Burch is definitely the favorite though.
